AGERE needed to vacate existing facilities in Santa Clara and move into this two-story vacant building within three months of award of this project. Meade Construction Group, Inc. worked with the City of San Jose to expedite the permit approval. We constructed the project in a sequence which facilitated two partial move-ins several weeks ahead of the completion target.

Demanding MEP requirements were needed to support Agere’s multiple electronics testing laboratories. These included a last minute replacement of the existing (but defective) Computer Room Air Conditioning unit which necessitated a tricky insertion of the 30 ton piece of equipment through an exterior second story window.
