In order to install state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization lab equipment and offer cutting edge services, Sequoia Hospital undertook a major renovation to its existing lab. Meade Group removed existing equipment and finishes, installed a new 7.5 Ton Air Handling Unit in the room, new medical gas outlets, and updated finishes, fixtures, doors and accessories.

This project was completed simultaneously with a retrofit to Radiology Room #11 nearby. This parallel operation allowed for enhanced labor efficiency and economies of scale. Infection control training was combined and the two projects enjoyed the benefits of heightened awareness to safety and cleanliness on the part of the craftsmen. Meade Group’s success on this project, like all our in-patient projects, owed greatly to extraordinary efforts to communicate constantly with radiology staff and other adjacent Hospital departments. This kept negative impacts upon Hospital operations to zero.
