This relatively straight-forward laser laboratory project became complex when, half-way through the construction phase, it was decided to completely change the air distribution system in the laser rooms.
To switch from standard air mixing - with supply and return registers in the ceiling - to laminar flow supply air over the laser tables with low wall returns required redesign and reconstruction of the HVAC system as well as substantial architectural modification.
Through creative design and aggressive field management, no time was lost on the original schedule.
