I've never skinned a cat, to be clear, but I understand there are many ways to do so. At Meade Construction Group, Inc. we endeavor to know and understand all kinds of construction methods, materials, equipment, etc. We can offer this knowledge during the design development phase to the great benefit of the project through Value Engineering.

Our estimating and project management teams work together to pull apart a project and glean as many possible cost-reducing ideas as we can in a free-flowing brainstorming session. We build a menu-like list of these with cost estimates attached to each idea. We then facilitate a working session with the design team and our client to flesh out these ideas, rejecting non-starters, accepting low-hanging fruit and, usually, producing a bunch of additional ideas to price up. Going through this process in a couple of sittings can yield huge results for any project.
